Driving records are needed for such things as car insurance applications, license applications in many US States & Canadian Provinces & obtaining employment as a commercial driver.In Japan, there are 3 types of certificate available in English that show
various aspects of your driving record including accidents and violations.
Certification of Clean License 無事故・無違反
1, 3, or a 5 year Driving Record Certificate 運転記録証明書
Points Violation Record 累積点数等証明書
A copy of a certificate costs 700 Yen and takes a few days to process after application. In Aichi Prefecture applications can be done at the Safe Driving Center located at the Aichi Prefectural
Police Headquarters. It is also possible for a third party to apply on your behalf - however application procedures & fees vary from branch to branch. Tel:
