Driving records are needed for such things as car insurance applications, license applications in many US States & Canadian Provinces & obtaining employment as a commercial driver.In Japan, there are 3 types of certificate available in English that show
various aspects of your driving record including accidents and violations.

A copy of a certificate costs 700 Yen and takes a few days to process after application. In Aichi Prefecture applications can be done at the Safe Driving Center located at the Aichi Prefectural
