Donating Books to the NIC Library

The NIC Library welcomes donations of used books.

Do you have any books lying around at home that you no longer need? Let the NIC Library help you reclaim your precious living space, and help your books find a new home.

Your donated books will either be added to the Library’s collection for Library users to enjoy, or sold at the annual Book Recycling Bazaar. Held in June, the proceeds of this popular event go to the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan for the promotion of literacy education in developing countries, and the NIC Library for the purchase of new books.

Books can be sent to the Library by post, or you can bring them in in person. Please note that not all books can be accepted; feel free to contact the Library to check before you bring in a bundle of heavy tomes.

For more information, call the NIC Library on 052-581-0102, or contact us here.
