NIC Japanese Class for Adults

For non-native speakers of Japanese, up to 15-20 places available per course. All lessons are held in Japanese, and knowledge of hiragana and katakana are assumed. In the event of excess applications, places will be allocated by lottery. A range of courses are available from basic conversation to kanji.

When: 10 lessons every Sunday from 14 Jan. to 25 Mar. (No class on 11 Feb.)

Where: Nagoya International Center

Cost: 2,500 Yen for 10 lessons, plus 500-1,000 Yen for course materials.

How to Apply: Come to the NIC 5F Conference Room 1 on Sun. 7 Jan. between 11:00 and 11:30. (Applications for 2nd classes from 12:30.) Following the application procedure, applicants will be interviewed. Payment accepted from 12:15. Application forms can be found at the 3F pamphlet box area or http://www.nic-nagoya.or.jp/nihongonokai/.
