Physical and Mental Health Consultations for Foreign Residents


This comprehensive consultation session, held in conjunction with related specialist medical organizations, aims to help resident foreign nationals who might be hindered by differences in language and customs to feel at ease about their health, through early detection of illness, prevention, and providing information about the medical treatment system. Interpreting support in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese will be available.

Organized by Nagoya City Health and Welfare Bureau, Nagoya International Center, and Medical Information Center Aichi, there will be free health consultations, tuberculosis testing, consultations with a midwife, and a corner with information on HIV testing and one-coin cancer testing, and the National Health Insurance system.
