Japanese Summer School for Children


With the aim of providing the Japanese language skills necessary for school and daily life, NIC volunteers will host special summer vacation Japanese lessons for children. Available for school children aged between 6 and 15 whose mother tongue is not Japanese.

When: Every Wed. & Sun. from Wed. 25 Jul. to Wed. 29 Aug., and Sat. 11 Aug. (10:00 – 11:30); No class Sun. 12 & Wed. 15 Aug. (Total 10 classes)

Where: Nagoya International Center 3F Lecture Room 1 & 2

Access: Above the Kokusai Center Station (国際センター駅) on the Sakura-dori Subway Line (地下鉄桜通線)

How to Join: Applications will be accepted on Sun. 22 Jul. (12:30 – 13:00) in person at the Nagoya International Center 4F Exhibition Room 3; a parent / guardian should also attend. Application forms are available from the 3F pamphlet boxes or can be downloaded below.









Participation Fee: 1,000 Yen covers all 10 classes.

Places: Maximum 50 places.
