NIC International Exchange Walking




The Nagoya International Center’s volunteer NIC Walking Guides are hosting a walking event to give Japanese and foreign residents an opportunity to interact while exploring the city’s Higashi Ward.
Departing from Kurumamichi Station, the course will take participants to Kenchūji Temple (建中寺), the MUFG Bank Money Museum (三菱UFJ銀行貨幣資料館), and Tokugawaen (徳川園) garden.

When: Sat. 26 May (10:00 – 13:00)

Where: Meet at Kurumamichi Sta. (車道駅) wicket gate (改札口) on the Subway Sakura-dori Line (地下鉄桜通線) at 9:45.

Cost: Participation fee 100 Yen (covers insurance); Entrance ticket to Tokugawaen 300 Yen.

Reservations: 30 places available (20 foreigners, 10 Japanese) on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations required. Visit or contact the Nagoya International Center 3F Information Counter from Sat. 28 Apr. (from 10:00), providing your full name, nationality, whether or not interpreting is required, and your contact details.
