◆Ice Tulip Garden

Tulips are spring flowers, but they are making an early appearance at Hisayaodori Garden Flarie. By keeping the bulbs at low temperatures, the flowers come into bloom two months earlier than under normal conditions.

When: Early Feb. to late Mar. (9:00 – 17:30)


◆Ishida School Ikebana Exhibition

Feel the sensation of spring with this gorgeous display of Hina Matsuri- (“dolls festival”) themed ikebana pieces by members of the Ishida School.

When: Tue. 26 Feb. to Sun. 3 Mar. (10:00 – 16:00)


Where: Hisayaodori Garden Flarie (久屋大通庭園フラリエ), Naka Ward (中区)

Access: Approximately a 3-minute walk from Yaba-cho Station (矢場町駅) Exit 4 on the Meijo Subway Line (地下鉄名城線); or a 5-minute walk from Kamimaezu Station (上前津駅) Exit 1 on the Meijo and Tsurumai Subway lines (地下鉄名城・鶴舞線).
