IC card service now available on Aonami, Yutorito and Linimo Lines

The handy yellow MANACA (マナカ) IC card can now be used on the Linimo Line.

Manaca is a rechargeable card that can be used to pay fares on the Nagoya City subway and buses, the Aonami Line, Yutorito Line, Meitetsu trains and buses, Toyotetsu lines, and now Linimo.

It can also be used as electronic money to make purchases from certain vending machines and stores.
One of several transport IC cards in use around the country, Manaca is also compatible with other transportation IC cards throughout Japan, so it can even be used for payment on railways, buses and shops that have the Transport IC logo when you’re travelling around the country.

In addition to Manaca, a number of IC cards from around Japan can be used on public transport in and around Nagoya. As of March 2016, Kitaca, Suica, PASMO, TOICA, PiTaPa, ICOCA, nimoca, Hayakaken and SUGOCA cards can also be used on the Aonami Line, the Yutorito Line and the Linimo Line.

For more information on Manaca, please see the City of Nagoya Transportation Bureau website.
