The Disposal Procedure for Fluorescent Tubes and Mercury Thermometers will Change in October!
10月から蛍光管・水銀体温計・水銀温度計の出し方が変わります!

In order to ensure that the mercury contained in fluorescent tubes, etc. is disposed of appropriately and recycled, collection at Recycling Locations will begin in October 2017.

 fluoro Fluorescent tubesPlease take fluorescent tubes to an Environmental Affairs Office or fluorescent tube recycling cooperating retailer (electrical goods retailers, home improvement retailers, etc.) for disposal.
※For fluorescent tube recycling cooperating retailer locations, please check the City of Nagoya website or inquire at the Environmental Affairs Office of the ward in which you reside. (If interpreting is required, please use the NIC Trio-Phone service [Phone: 052-581-6112]).
 thermom Mercury thermometersPlease take mercury thermometers to an Environmental Affairs Office for disposal.
Business hours: 8:00 to 16:45 (except Sat., Sun. and year-end / New Year period)

※Incandescent light bulbs and LED products should be disposed of as Non-Burnable Garbage.
※Broken fluorescent tubes and mercury thermometers should be wrapped in strong paper, and disposed of as Non-Burnable Garbage.
