At this current time, due to the large scale of damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami, prefectural governments in the affected areas are not currently accepting material donations and volunteer applications from individuals.  Please check individual prefectural websites (listed below) for updated information. Monetary donations are however being accepted.

  • Chubu Electric have announced no plans for scheduled blackouts in the Nagoya area, however please do try to limit the amount to electricity you use.
  • The Nagoya area is not affected the subsequent radiation leakage caused by the explosions at nuclear power station in Fukushima Prefecture
