Can you help me?

Q: Can you help me? What’s the cheapest way I can get to Tokyo?
A: From Nagoya Station, both Meitetsu and JR operate long-haul coach services to major cities across the country. For most destinations services either depart early morning, or late at night and arrive the following morning. There are several buses a day to Osaka and Tokyo. Return tickets are available and depending on the destination the return portion has to be used within 6 or 10 days.
For example the Nagoya to Sendai schedule is as below:

  There Return
Meitetsu Bus Center – 3F stop #5 21:30 07:30 (next day)
Sakae Oasis 21 – stop # 8 21:45 07:20 (next day)
Sendai Station 07:30 (next day) 21:30

Meitetsu Long-haul Buses depart from the Meitetsu Bus Center名鉄バスセンターnext to Nagoya Station and has services to Shinjuku, Niigata, Nagano, Sendai, Fukuoka and over a dozen other cities. A full list of destinations and schedule can be found at www.meitetsu-bus.co.jp/highway
JR Tokai Buses depart from the JR Tokai Bus Center at Nagoya Station, located next to Matsuzakaya. JR runs services to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Matsuyama, Kanazawa, and numerous towns and cities in between.
In comparison to the Shinkansen considerable savings can be made. On the bus, a ticket to Sendai costs 10,190 Yen one-way, 18,340 Yen return. On the Shinkansen it is 19,170 one-way!
