Comprehensive Seminar and Consultations for Parents and Guardians of Foreign Children
Seminar (max. 60 people): “First Language Retention” In recent years, there is a stronger awareness of the necessity of keeping one’s native language, prompting the appearance of activities to promote children’s language retention, such as children’s story book reading sessions. This year’s seminar will look at some of the issues surrounding this important aspect of raising children in a foreign environment.
Personal Consultations (max. 16 groups up to 20 min/group): Speak to an education specialist to get advice on issues such as truancy, bullying, special-needs education and any other developmental areas of education. English, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese and Filipino interpreters will be provided for both the seminar and consultations.
