Disaster Prevention Workshop for Foreign Residents
Would you be prepared if a powerful earthquake struck Nagoya tomorrow? How would you react? What would you need to prepare? Why not join the Minato Disaster Prevention Workshop at the Minato Disaster Prevention Center.
Experience what a 7.0 earthquake feels like while a fire breaks out and blacks out all the lights at home! Go through the motions involved in an evacuation, get hands on fire extinguisher practice, participate in a quiz rally and sample some foods made using our emergency food recipes which we’ll also be presenting. The Fire Brigade Band “Lilly Angels” will be performing and a real Fire Engine Truck will be making an appearance!
