The Nagoya International Center carries out a variety of activities for international exchange throughout the year. In cooperation with other local international exchange organizations, NIC organizes lectures, seminars, parties, exhibitions, and other events aimed
at introducing the cultures and lifestyles of peoples around the world and improving relationships between Japanese and foreign residents. Main NIC-sponsored event announcements are made in NIC News and the Nagoya Calendar, and on
ZIP FM Global Voice (77.8 MHz).
In addition to organizing events, the Nagoya International Center also co-sponsors and supports activities for international exchange and cooperation that are run by civic organizations. The NIC introduces these organizations, promotes their activities, and
provides
rental facilities at reduced rates.
