チャオ御岳スノーリゾート
- 場所：チャオ 御岳 スノーリゾート（岐阜県 高山市） 鉄道と バスの 連絡が良く 便利です。
- 行き方：JR中央線 ワイドビューしなの1号 または2号で 「木曽福島」駅下車
- 連絡バスへ 乗りかえて 約1時間。または 車で 中央自動車道「中津川IC」から 国道19号で 塩尻方面へ、「木曽大橋」信号を 左折、国道361号線を高山方面へ 進む。中津川ICから 約105ｋｍ

- 行き方：JR 中央線 「薮原」駅 下車、スキー場まで 100円バス。

- 行き方：東海北陸自動車道 「高鷲IC」から 国道156号で 約15分、ETC車の 場合は 「ひるがの高原スマートIC」から 約5分

Ski Resorts
Ski season is upon us! Here is a spotlight of a few resorts that you can take a day trip to ski or snowboard. Please confirm snow conditions before departing for your trip.
- Ciao Ontake snow resort (Takayama-shi, Gifu-ken)
- Directions? Take the JR Chuo line limited express Wideview-Shinano 1 or 2 to Kiso-Fukushima and transfer to the Ciao shuttle bus. Ciao is an hour bus ride from Kiso-Fukushima. Or take the Chuo Highway and exit at the Nakatsugawa IC. Then take route 19 to Shiojiri, turn left at Kiso-ohashi, and drive to Takayama on route 361.

- Yabuhara-Kogen ski resort (Kiso mura, Nagano-ken)
- Directions? Take the JR Chuo Line to Yabuhara Station and take the ￥100 Yabuhara-Kogen shuttle bus to the venue. Or take the Chuo Highway and exit at the Nakatsugawa IC. Then take route 19 to Shiojiri, turn left at Suge, and continue on for 10 minutes.

- Winghills Shirotori resort (Gujo-shi, Gifu-ken)
- Directions? Take the Tokai-Hokuriku Highway and exit at the Shirotori IC. Turn left at the second light and continue on for 18 km.

- Jibuzaka Kogen Ski Area (Achi mura, Nagano-ken)
- Directions? Take the Chuo Highway and exit at the Sonohara IC. The resort is about a 15.6 km drive on route 256 or 153 from the Sonohara IC.

- Skiing ground Hirugano Kogen (Gujo-shi, Gifu-ken)
- Directions? Take the Tokai-Hokuriku Highway and exit at the Takasu IC, drive along Route 156 for about 15 minutes (non-ETC equipped vehicles), or drive about 7 minutes from the Hirugano-kogen Smart IC (ETC equipped vehicles). Or take the 7:45AM shuttle bus from Gifu Station to its last stop and transfer to the bus bound for sakura-no-sato shokawa station.
