Starting from coffee shops @ Nagoya

Coffee shops around Nagoya are famous for their gmorning serviceh menus. If you visit Nagoya Station for some purpose during the morning, I recommend you drop in to a coffee shop.

gCafe Gentianeh is the coffee shop located on the first floor of the Hotel Associa Nagoya Terminal, which adjoins JR Nagoya Station. You can get there in less than one minute from JR Nagoya Station. There are more than 100 seats inside; the spacious space and modern facilities make you feel at ease.

The morning service of Cafe Gentiane is from 7:00 am to 11:00 am ( You are able to order till 10:45 am). During this morning service, you order coffee, and you can select something you want to eat. Several kinds of bread, bananas, boiled eggs, and soup are served buffet style. You are free to get extra helpings of food. The morning service costs 500 yen.

Next, I will introduce one unique coffee shop near Nagoya Station. g Lyonsh is the famous coffee shop which is located on the first basement at Mitsui Building Bekkan. Lyons is a five minute walk from JR Nagoya Station.

The main feature of this shop is its "morning service". Usually, "morning services" at coffee shops are limited to the morning, but gLyonsh does not have any limitation. You are able to order the morning service almost all day. The morning service time is from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

You order coffee, and you can select something from the morning service menu. For example, toast with a boiled egg and some kinds of pressed hot sandwiches are served. Of course, gogura sandwichesh are also available; this is a Nagoya specialty. gOgurah is sweet bean jam containing whole beans. Lyons is not large, so sometimes people line up in front of the shop.
