The Museum is located at the
former Toyoda Spinning & Weaving Co.,Ltd. headquarters plant, where the Toyota
Group has its beginning. The Toyota Group originated from Sakichi Toyoda the
inventor of the automatic loom.

Sakichi's son Kiichiro Toyoda began
production of automobiles. In this Museum an automotive plant from the beginning
are exhibited.

Noritake Garden

When
you come into the parking entrance, the six chimneys welcome customers, which
symbolize the success of Noritake, the prominent manufacturer of a wide range of
tableware.
Beyond the chimneys, you
can see some skyscrapers around Nagoya station.
The contrast between the
old chimneys and contemporary buildings are very interest. Free from the dim and
bustle of a great city, you can enjoy walking around garden.

This brick building, which
was constructed in 1904, was the first factory of Noritake, and remained in
operation until 1975.
When
you enter the Craft Center, you can have a chance to see how ceramic ware is
made. The Noritake Museum displays a collection of "Old Noritake. You can
enjoy seeing the history of Noritake's table ware.
