We would like to inform you of the enrollment guidelines for new first-grade students from Nagoya City as follows.

[1] Pre-enrollment health check:

Information will be sent by the Board of Education around mid-October.　

[2] Notification of enrollment:

A notification specifying the name of the elementary school and the enrollment date will be sent by the ward office or branch office by the end of January of the following year.

[3] Foreign nationals who wish to enroll in a public elementary school:

Please apply at the Residents' Affairs Division of your ward office or the Residents' Affairs Division of your branch office.

*It is not permitted to falsify your home address in order to attend a school in another school district. (If you have special circumstances and would like to attend a school in another school district, please contact the following for procedures regarding commuting outside your school district or attending school outside your area.)
