Arakogawa Park Cherry Blossom Festival (荒子川公園 さくらまつり)

ArakogawaSakura_300x199.jpgFrom late March, around 1,000 Somei-Yoshino trees come into bloom, and the Cherry Blossom Festival begins. The cherry blossoms at night, illuminated by traditional bonbori lanterns, are highly recommended, and there are concerts and a variety of activities to enjoy.


When: Fri. 20 Mar. (nat. hol.) to Thu. 9 Apr.
Where: Arakogawa Park (荒子川公園), Minato Ward (港区)
Access: A 3-minute walk from Arakogawa-kōen Sta. (荒子川公園駅, AN08) on the Aonami Line (あおなみ線)
