Tsuruma Park Flower Festival (鶴舞公園 花まつり)

TsurumaKoenSakura_300x225.jpgFeel the arrival of spring with flowers including plum blossoms and Japanese witch hazel (Hamamelis japonica) at Tsuruma Park. The blossoms of the Somei-yoshino cherry trees in the cherry blossom grove are famed as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots. There are also lots of events on during the Flower Festival.


When: Wed. 25 Mar. to Sun. 7 Jun.
Where: Tsuruma Park (鶴舞公園), Shōwa Ward (昭和区)
Access: Outside Tsurumai Sta. (鶴舞駅, CF02 / T10) on the JR Chūō Line (JR中央線) and Subway Tsurumai Line (地下鉄鶴舞線) Exit 4.
Admission: Free. Charges apply for some events, food & drink, etc.
