Yattokame Festival (やっとかめ文化祭 ~時をめぐり、文化を旅する、まちの祭典~)

Travel through time and culture as you walk the city streets and encounter the charm of Nagoya.


Performance in the City:

Street Kabuki, Owari Manzai, Kōdan (comic storytelling), Kyōgen, Jinku (traditional singing), Sōkyoku (koto) and more will be streamed via the Yattokame Festival youtube channel on 24 Oct. and 1, 15 Nov. See the official website for streaming program details.


Traditional Performing Arts:

Performances of Kaidan (ghost stories), Noh and Kyōgen, and classical literary ghost stories as portrayed in traditional Japanese dance. (Fee applies; reservation required.) 1, 7, 13 Nov.


Study in the City:

Feel and experience history and traditional culture through lectures and workshops at historical sites and important cultural assets (20 sessions. Fee applies; reservation required.)


Walking Tour Nagoya:

Explore the town with Nagoya-loving guides. (40 courses. Fee applies; reservation required.)
