Tetsuya Noguchi (1980 - ) is a contemporary artist who questions modernity and humanity through the themes of armor and people. His unique worldview, in which diverse cultures and emotions blend together, is supported by a wide range of people both in Japan and abroad. Consisting of approximately 180 pieces, this exhibition featuring representative works from his early years as well as new works, and including sculptures, paintings and other works depicting people wearing armor, introduces a world of kindness, sadness, and brimming with curiosity about human beings, as filtered through Noguchi's broad thinking and elaborate works.
