Nagoya City Art Museum: Special Exhibition, 35th Anniversary of the Nagoya City Art Museum: Gaudi and the Sagrada Familia ( 名古屋市美術館 特別展「開館35周年記念 ガウディとサグラダ・ファミリア展」)

Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) was an architect who was active mainly in Barcelona. This exhibition introduces the source of his unique ideas from the three key perspectives of history, nature, and geometry. In addition, it focuses on the Sagrada Familia, which is finally nearing its completion after more than 140 years, revealing the originality of Gaudi's architecture through more than 100 models, drawings, photographs, and other materials as well as the latest video footage.
When: December 19, 2023 to Sunday, March 10, 2024. (9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Open until 8:00 p.m. on Friday except for February 23. (last entry: 30 minutes before closing)

- Take a subway on the Higashiyama or Tsurumai Line to Fushimi Station and take Exit 5. It's an 8-minute walk to the south from there.
- Take a subway on the Tsurumai Line to Osu Kannon Station and take Exit 2. It's a 7-minute walk to the north from there.
- Take a subway on the Meijo Line to Yabacho Station and take Exit 4. It's a 10-minute walk to the west from there.
Admission: ¥1,800 (¥1,600) for adults, ¥1,000 (¥800) for high school and university students, free for junior high school students and younger

*Visitors with disabilities or serious diseases and up to two accompanying caregivers can enter at half price for a same-day ticket by presenting a disability certificate or medical care recipient certificate.
*High school and university students must present a student ID.
*Visitors who use a 1-Day Ticket, Weekend Eco Ticket, or Nagoya Subway 24-H Ticket issued by the Transportation Bureau, City of Nagoya, on the day of their visit to the museum can receive a ¥100 discount on a same-day ticket.
*Visitors can receive a ¥200 discount by presenting a Regular viewing ticket for permanent exhibitions of the Nagoya City Art Museum.
*Discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts.
