The second Saturday in May is "World Fair Trade Day."

Fair trade promotion events are held in various regions around the world, and Nagoya, which was certified as a fair trade town in 2015, has been hosting the event "World Fair Trade Day Nagoya" since 2010.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Nagoya becoming a fair trade town. We will look back on the decade, both before and after Nagoya was certified as a fair trade town. This event allows everyone to experience what the world would be like without the concept of fair trade, learn about the actual situation, and take action to solve social issues through coffee tasting, workshops, stage shows, and shops.
