From late March to early April, about 900 trees of 10 kinds of cherry blossoms, mainly Somei Yoshino and weeping cherry blossoms, will be in full bloom. During the Nagoya Castle Cherry Blossom Festival, from Thursday (national holiday), March 20 to Sunday, April 6, the open hours will be extended, so you can enjoy the fantastic illumination of the cherry blossoms against the background of the castle. You can also walk around the grounds of the castle and enjoy a variety of other activities. Enjoy watching the painting on the sliding doors, "Cherry blossoms and pheasants," which is perfect for the cherry blossom season, stage events, and matchlock gun demonstrations.
