The World Children's Art Museum in Okazaki: Children's Art Brut 2025 Exhibition Part 1(おかざき世界子ども美術博物館「子どもたちのアール・ブリュット2025前期展示」)
2025.08.01
Since 2021, the World Children's Museum of Art in Okazaki has been holding Children's Art Brut 2025, a permanent exhibition of works by children with disabilities, the first of its kind in a public facility.
The first part of the Children's Art Brut 2025 exhibition showcases works created by children from special needs classes in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefectural Okazaki School for the Deaf, Aichi prefectural special needs schools, and National Special Needs Education School affiliated to Aichi University of Education. This exhibition invites visitors to see the free and creative works of these children and to become familiar with Art Brut in the hope that this will lead to greater understanding and interest in the works of children with disabilities and that their activities to express themselves with their pure minds will lead to the future.
