The Nagoya International Center's volunteer NIC Walking Guides are hosting a walking event to give Japanese and foreign residents an opportunity to have fun interacting while tracing the history and culture of Nagoya City. This time, explore the Nagoya Port and Tsukiji (築地) area, including the Minato Disaster Prevention Center (港防災センター), Heiwa Bridge (平和橋), Garden Wharf (ガーデンふ頭), Nagoya Port Building (名古屋港ポートビル), and Nagoya Port (名古屋港).
When: Sat. 23 Nov. (nat. hol., 10:00 - 13:00)
Where: Meet at Minato Kuyakusho Sta. (港区役所駅, E05) in front of Exit 1 (1番出口前) on the Subway Meiko Line (地下鉄名港線) at 9:45.
Reservations: 30 places available (20 foreigners, 10 Japanese) on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations required. Please e-mail the Nagoya International Center Information Counter from Sat. 26 Oct. (from 9:00), providing your full name, nationality, language, a phone number where you can be reached on the day, and whether interpreting is required.
