This comprehensive consultation session, held in conjunction with related specialist medical organizations, aims to help resident foreign nationals who might be hindered by differences in language and customs to feel at ease about their health, through early detection of illness, prevention, and providing information about the medical treatment system. Interpreting support in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese will be available.
Organized by Nagoya City Health and Welfare Bureau, Nagoya International Center, and Medical Information Center Aichi, there will be free health, welfare and medical consultations, including tuberculosis testing, consultations for women, cancer testing, body measurement, urinalysis, blood pressure measurement, and medical interviews, conducted by professional doctors, dentists, and nurses.
