Regional Internationalization Seminar 2020: Changing Communities and Confusion - Overcoming Uncertainty (地域の国際化セミナー2020「変わる地域、とまどう人々～その『もやもや』の先に～」)
This year's seminar looks at the theme of building a multicultural community and the discord that occurs between residents due to factors such as differences in culture, and features a keynote presentation on the potential for issue resolution from the perspective of community psychology. Plus, a report on the Shibazono Danchi (Saitama), a housing complex where half of the occupants are non-Japanese, and what the situation there reveals about the shape of communities of the future; and the panel discussion will consider how to face and overcome discord. Limited to 150 places, determined on a first-in, first-served basis.
