For young non-native speakers of Japanese (born before 1 April 2005) currently attending or aspiring to enter high school and requiring assistance with Japanese language acquisition. (Current junior high school students, please see NIC Japanese Class for Children.) The class aims to help students acquire the foundations of Japanese necessary for their studies, to enable them to complete their high school studies and pursue careers. Max. 15 places, determined on a needs basis.
When: Every Sunday from 20 Sep. to 29 Nov. (14:00 - 16:00) (11 lessons.)
Where: Nagoya International Center 3F Lecture Room 2
Cost: 2,000 Yen for 11 lessons
How to Apply: Applications can be made via the NIC website between Tue. 8 Sep. (from 10:00) and Sat. 12 Sep. (until 17:00).
Payment, interviews and a mini class will be held on Sun. 13 Sep. (14:00 - 15:10) at NIC 4F Lecture Room 3. (If vacancies remain after 13 Sep., applications may still be accepted. Please contact the NIC Exchange and Cooperation Division for inquiries about applications.)
