The Nagoya International Center's volunteer NIC Walking Guides are hosting a walking event to give Japanese and foreign residents an opportunity to have fun interacting while tracing the history and culture of Nagoya City. This time, explore Atsuta Jingu (熱田神宮) and Shirotori Garden (白鳥庭園).
When: Sat. 29 May (10:00 - 12:00)
Where: Meet at Jingu Nishi Sta. (神宮西駅, M27) on the Subway Meijo Line (地下鉄名城線).
Cost: 300 Yen (Shirotori Garden admission; Keiro Pass holders 100 Yen)
Places: Foreign residents: 10 (first-come, first-served); Japanese residents: 5 (determined by lot)
Reservations: Required. Please call or e-mail the Nagoya International Center Information Counter from Sat. 24 Apr. (from 10:00), providing your full name, nationality, language, a phone number where you can be reached on the day, and whether interpreting is required. Please apply by 15 May if you require interpreting for a language other than English. Reservations will close when places filled.
(Please note that reservations for Japanese participants can only be made by e-mail by 8 May, and participants will be determined by lot.)
