We have invited Mr. Shun Takenaka, a young social activist who runs an orphanage in Nepal that houses 35 children, as a lecturer. He will be sharing with us his story filled with challenges, starting from traveling around Japan while kicking a soccer ball as a student, how he came to run an orphanage, and his current activities.

Lecturer: Shun Takenaka
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1996. In 2016, he began support activities in Nepal and running an orphanage.
He travels around the world and promotes awareness of social issues such as poverty and the environment via Instagram (110,000 followers). His activities have been covered by the media, and he has traveled around Japan and the world, giving more than 600 lectures.
Capacity: Up to 60 participants (on a first-come, first-served basis)
This lecture is open to everyone.
