In Nakatsugawa Maron Park, there are around 20 varieties of chestnut trees of early, middle, and late maturity, such as Tanzawa, Porotan, Rihei, and Tsukuba. You can enjoy picking chestnuts in this mountain village, rich in nature. Aiming to offer fall delicacy earlier than others, the park is only open when chestnuts are in their best season. Unlike other fruit picking, it's fun to pick up ripened chestnuts fallen from the trees. Tongs and buckets are available at the park. Go to pick chestnuts in this spacious park!
