"The target is wild birds! Wing-kyun!"（ターゲットは野鳥だ！羽きゅん）

This exhibition explores ways of life lived alongside birds, such as cormorant fishing and falconry, as well as bird-inspired motifs that appeal to aesthetic sensibilities. It also examines colors derived from the captivating hues of feathers, and landscapes perceived through the eyes of birds. Together with works by Hiroshige, the exhibition traces the journeys of wild birds that soar freely across Japanese culture in every direction.
