Once a year, the magic of Paris comes to Endoji Shopping Street.

Located roughly halfway between Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, Endoji Shopping Street is adjacent to the historic streetscape known as Shikemichi, which is lined with traditional storehouses.

The Paris Festival, held every autumn in one of Nagoya's oldest surviving arcade shopping streets, transforms the area into a little corner of Paris. The streets are filled with people wearing tricolor berets and Breton-style stripes, while French-style stalls offer sweets, flowers, brocante goods, and more.

Accompanied by the sound of accordions, the shopping street takes on a completely different atmosphere from its usual appearance.

Visitors and local businesses come together to create a lively atmosphere, with smiles all around.
