Global Youth Forum A perspective to connect global issues with our everyday lives - What is true social contribution?(グローバルユースフォーラム「世界とつながる~本当に意味のある社会貢献とは~」)

2025.11.08

Global issues, including poverty and conflict, may seem like something far away from our everyday lives. In reality, however, our daily lives and actions are ultimately connecting with the conditions of those in faraway countries.

Kanta Hara, a freelance humanitarian aid worker, has been providing humanitarian aid and on-site reports in Africa. He will give "a tip on taking personal ownership of global issues" based on his real experiences.

"What can I do?" At first, you will ask yourself this question. Then, you will gain a hint and new insights during the lecture.

Date/time: Saturday, November 8 (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Venue: Annex Hall, Nagoya International Center (NIC)
